Much easier than hanging them on the house.

Well done, you’ve inspired me to so decorate the dead Vanagon in my driveway.

Looks great!
I could do this to the Twingo, would be damn impractical to have to remove them every day, but I’m sure it would help with defrosting the windows.

Put a mattress in there and you’d have an awesome shag wagon.

110v or 12v?
I’m putting on my 12v lights as soon as I get my cruiser back.

Right now, the Vandura is 0 volts, so I’m using shore power.

Thanks Dave. I’m hoping to add a few, but I may never get around to it. Those lights hung on the front of the house the first several years we lived in it, and usually stayed up until July. They’ve been in a box for ten years. Much faster and easier to hang on the Vandura.

Except for all the windows... But I suppose they’d fog up quickly enough.

Like the year a friend of mine hung all the lights in one large ball on the corner of his gutter. His wife gave up and they stayed there through the season. I don’t know how they didn’t catch fire. I’m sure even small incandescent lamps build up quite a bit of heat when they are in a basketball sized mass.
